Overview:
Lecithin can be found in all plant and animal products, including cabbage, cauliflower, caviar eggs, garbanzo beans (chickpeas), green beans, lentils, organ meats, seeds/nuts, soy lecithin, soybeans and split peas. It is also found in chemicals that assist in the massage of many nutrients form the bloodstream into the cells. Lecithin’s benefits are the same as those of choline such that Lecithin is a major source of choline. Consequently, Lecithin must be present in order for choline to be synthesized. Fatty acids, glycerin, and phosphorus are also found in lecithin.

How to Use:
Take tablets whole with a full glass of liquid. Do not chew or crush it. Take along with food or 1 to 1-1/2 hours after food consumption unless you are otherwise directed by your physician.

Men: 550 mg
Women: 425 mg
Pregnant: 450 mg
Lactating: 550 mg

Cautions:
Do not take if you are:
Healthy and eat a well-balanced diet.

Consult your doctor if you have:
Intentions of treating Alzheimer’s disease with lecithin/choline

Pregnancy:
It is not necessary to take a supplement.

Breastfeeding:
It is not necessary to take a supplement.

Infants and Children:
It is hazardous to treat infants and children under 2 with any supplement.

Others:
Unless your diet is adequate in calcium, excess lecithin may increase phosphorus levels
It could cause an inaccurate reading in a lecithin/sphingomyelin lab test as part of an examination of amniotic fluid
Lecithin effectiveness is decreased if used with nicotinic acid (nicotinamide, vitamin B-3)

Storage:
Keep in a cool and dry location and away from direct light, but do not freeze.
Keep safely away from children.
Do not keep in bathroom medicine cabinet. Heat and dampness may alter the action of the supplement.

Safe dosage:
Do not consume more than 1 gram per day.
